Boarding at Toowoomba Grammar School can be described as many things such as evolving identity, growing personally and developing character in your second home, but it is also about growing your family. Head of Boyce House boarding, Mr Michael Hall and his family, certainly enjoyed that opportunity over January.
Catching up with a beautiful collection of current families from Boyce House was a privilege and has helped to build the relationships of trust and care that are essential in a boarding setting. The Hall family know that sharing the educational journey with students at Toowoomba Grammar School means looking after the most precious thing in a parent’s life – their child.
Mr Hall believes, “You can’t truly know a student without experiencing where they come from and knowing their family, every chance to visit boarding families allows us these insights”.
Thank you to the Burrow’s and McCormack’s for taking time out of their busy schedules to join the Hall family for brunch in Goondiwindi. It was then off to Moonie with the Savill’s - swimming in dams, mustering cattle and sharing in the amazing warm hospitality given by David, Jo and the three boys.
“Boyce is all about family and it is the honour of all its staff to share your son’s journey - whilst at school and beyond," said Mr Hall.
