Toowoomba Grammar School is embarking on an exciting new chapter with the launch of our transformative Masterplan, aligned with the School’s Strategic Plan 2022-2026.

This multi-year Masterplan aims to provide our boys with the skills, opportunities and environments to excel in an ever-changing global landscape.

The first phase focuses on the Design, Engineering and Technology (DET) Centre and the Agriculture and Industry Centre (AIC):

  • Design, Engineering and Technology (DET) Centre: Under construction now, this state-of-the-art facility will allow students to engage in hands-on learning with emerging technologies, including robotics, 3D printing, e-sports, engineering workshops and more.
  • Agriculture and Industry (AIC) Centre: This Centre will expand our curriculum, offering advanced labs, research spaces and workshops that prepare students for careers in agriculture, engineering and environmental science.

This is just the beginning. Over the coming years, the Masterplan will deliver transformative projects, including upgrades to boarding facilities, the Assembly Hall and Dent Library and shared spaces to connect the Junior and Senior Schools.

One of the exciting projects within the Masterplan is the Old Boys’ Deck. Located in front of the W.M. Dent Library and adjacent to the Promenade, this space will become a vibrant hub overlooking the cherished Old Boys’ Memorial Oval. For decades, this area has been a gathering place for Grammar boys, families, and Old Boys, sharing moments of camaraderie and School spirit.

The Old Boys’ Deck will enhance this tradition by offering event spaces, terraces, seating and shaded areas for the TGS community. It will be a place where Old Boys can reconnect, families can share experiences and current students can celebrate the bonds that unite us all.

“We invite our community to join us in supporting this vision. Together, we can ensure our boys are well-prepared for a successful future, while honouring the legacy of Toowoomba Grammar School.”
