How to Enrol

We appreciate this decision is important for your son’s future and is not taken lightly. Enrolment at Toowoomba Grammar School involves three steps as detailed below. Toowoomba Grammar School currently has limited places available for 2024 and 2025 so please submit your Enrolment Application as soon as possible or contact our Enrolment Office on (07) 4687 2517 or enrol@twgs.qld.edu.au to discuss enrolling at our School.

How to Enrol

Step 1

Complete the online Enrolment Application and pay the application fee.

Step 2

Approximately two years prior to your son’s commencement date, our friendly enrolments team will contact you to arrange an enrolment interview, and to request a copy of your son’s most recent School report and NAPLAN results. Interviews are conducted by a senior member of staff and include a tour of the School.

Mid-year enrolments are available where year level numbers permit. Families wishing to explore a mid-year enrolment are encouraged to contact the enrolments team as early as possible.

Step 3

After the interview, the Headmaster or senior member of staff will write to you to confirm whether your son has been offered a place at the School.

If your son is offered a place at the School, you will be invited to complete a Confirmation of Enrolment form (supplied by the School with the offer of placement) and pay the enrolment fee. Your letter of offer will have a due date for completion of this step and lapsed offers may be withdrawn by the School.

Once our enrolments team receives the completed Confirmation of Enrolment and the enrolment fee (within the prescribed period), then your son’s place as a student of Toowoomba Grammar School is confirmed.

Experience TGS

Each term we host our special Grammar Boy for a Day experience and boys are warmly invited to spend a day with us to find out what it’s like to be a Grammar boy.

The School also hosts an annual Open Day, a wonderful opportunity for families to come and experience all that TGS has to offer.
