Dietary Requirements for Boarders
If your son is a boarder and has dietary requirements, please complete the Dietary Requirements form by Friday, 17 January 2025.
Boarders transport for 2025
Transport to and from Toowoomba Grammar School is a necessity of a boarder. In order to help parents plan, the below transport opportunities will be provided by TGS in 2025.
The principles behind these transport opportunities reflect the fact that parents will often need to purchase new uniforms or sporting equipment at the beginning of a term. As such, parents are encouraged to book medical and dental appointments for the beginning of term so that if any further treatment is needed, this can be arranged through the Health Centre.
How to book transport for your son
It’s essential to secure a spot for your son on the buses listed below through Parent Lounge, including all flight details. If you have any concerns regarding wait times, please reach out to Kate Wormwell at studentservices@twgs.qld.edu.au, as well as the Head of House.
Start of Term 1:
Tuesday, 28 January
- 9.30am Boarders’ Bus from Brisbane Airport to TGS.
- 3.30pm Boarders’ Bus from Brisbane Airport to TGS.
- Transport for boarders flying into Wellcamp can be arranged. Families should contact their Head of House to coordinate.
End of Term 1:
Thursday, 3 April
- 3:30pm Boarders’ Bus to Brisbane Airport.
Friday, 4 April
- 6:00am Boarders’ Bus to Brisbane Airport.
- Transport for boarders flying out of Wellcamp can be arranged. Families should contact their Head of House to coordinate.
Start of Term 2:
Tuesday, 22 April
- 9.30am Boarders’ Bus from Brisbane Airport.
- 3.30pm Boarders’ Bus from Brisbane Airport.
