Co-Curricular Information
Toowoomba Grammar School (TGS) has a proud tradition of encouraging students to engage with multiple co-curricular pursuits. Each school term students in Years 5 to12 have the opportunity to participate in a GPS Sport and/or Activity, as well as various co-curricular activities. Students in Prep to Year 4 also have a range of sports and activities available to them as part of the Junior School Enrichment Program and Club Sport Program.

Please note, clubs and activities available to boys are subject to change and will be confirmed in 2025.
TGS Co-curricular information is managed within Clipboard, an extracurricular management system designed specifically for schools’ extracurricular activities.
Parents have two options to view Clipboard information:
- Clipboard for Parents website: Access website here
- TGS App: Within the TGS App, the information will be under the ‘Sports, The Arts & Activities’ function.
Our Clipboard platform feeds information into the TGS App so information on both platforms will be the same.
Clipboard login details are the same as your Parent Lounge login details. Download this document for instructions on how to use Clipboard. New parents with boys starting at the School in 2025 will be provided with their Parent Lounge login details on Monday, 6 January 2025. Please note your son will not miss out on his chosen sport if you are a new parent signing up after Monday, 6 January. We have plenty of teams available for all boys who would like to participate in their chosen GPS Sport or Activity.

Important Information:

However, students can choose the following GPS Sports and Activities in addition to their chosen Saturday Sport:
- Term 1 - Debating and Swimming
- Term 2 – Cross Country
- Term 3 - Chess
- For GPS Championship sports, which include Swimming*, Cross Country and Track and Field, training is open to all boys who sign up; however, the GPS Championships team will be selected based on times. Your son may be called upon to represent the Blue and Gold at the GPS Championships even if he does not sign up to training. Our aim will be to have as many boys as we can, as well as our fastest boys, participate in these Championships.
- *Please note, boys in Years 4, 5 and 6 in 2024 wishing to attend GPS swimming training must be competent and confident swimmers, able to swim 50 metres.
- Sign-ups for Senior School Clubs and Activities will be for the entire year. Our clubs and activities co-ordinators will confirm with registered boys if they are able to participate at the start of each term. Charges to students will apply for certain clubs and activities.
- If boys wish to change their mind about a particular sport or activity, they are free to do so prior to the sign up deadline.
- Once a student has signed up to a sport or activity it is expected that they will be committed to each training session and fixture throughout the season. Only in exceptional circumstances may a boy change his chosen sport/activity mid-season, excluding changing to rugby due to mandatory confidence in contact training session requirements or be unavailable for Friday/Saturday games. Parents are asked to make direct contact with the relevant Director or Head of Sport and Activities in such cases.
